Do customers need an app?
No. A normal Tapzy NFC interaction doesn't require a Tapzy app on a compatible phone.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Most modern iPhone and Android smartphones support NFC. Exact behaviour varies by model and settings. On some Android phones, NFC may need to be enabled.
Does Tapzy need a battery?
No. The NFC chip is passive and doesn't need its own battery or Bluetooth pairing. A working internet connection is needed when opening online services.
What if a phone doesn't respond?
Hold the phone a little closer, try the upper or back area, and check NFC settings. Thick or metal phone cases may interfere. QR-code alternatives are possible for suitable designs; ask us before placing standard NFC stickers on metal.
